This annual windsurfing event is an all-inclusive event for sailors of all ages and abilities. We run a small sailing course, closer to shore for our Bronze Fleet (learners) and bigger courses further off-shore for Silver and Gold Fleet sailors. There are also a number of Full Fleet activities over the weekend - all wind dependent, of course!

Youth (Under 18yrs), no WNZ Membership = $80 (Gate Sale = $90)
Youth (Under 18yrs), already a WNZ Member = $50 (Gate Sale = $60)
Adult (18yrs+), no WNZ Membership = $90 (Gate Sale = $105)
Adult (18yrs+), already a WNZ Member = $60 (Gate Sales = $75)

Cancellations & Refunds
Sailor Cancellation: Notify TWI Club by email 7 days prior to event start date to receive an 80% refund. No refunds after this time.
Event Cancellation: Early Bird entries will receive an 70% refund + event rash vest. Late entries will receive a 70% refund.
Club Membership Essential
This year, we have an option to include your TWI Club membership with your THJ ticket to help save a lot of time and hassle for everyone. All memberships will be verified before the event starts, and anyone not currently affiliated with a club will need to register on the day before they can sail - this is for insurance purposes but is also a great way to support our sport in your region!
Event Schedule
We note confirmed races and activities on the whiteboard at the event plus make announcements throughout the day over our PA system. A race day programme and a copy of the general racing rules is put in each registered sailors’ Welcome Pack which you will receive when you sign-in on Saturday morning.
*Note: To enter this event you must be a member of a WNZ affiliated club and be able to prove that you have paid your subscriptions for the 2021-2022 season.
If you are a paid up member of a WNZ club then you may select one of the options above that do not include the additional membership fee. We will be checking membership status with each club before the event.
If you are a member of a club that is not WNZ recognised or are not a current member of any WNZ affiliated club then you will need to pay the full fee and become a member of Tauranga Windsurfers Inc.
