Event Postponed

The following announcement was made by email to all Tauranga Harbour Jam entrants and the Tauranga Windsurfers Group page last night (Monday, 1st Nov):

Hi Guys

We have waited until today in the hope that we would see some changes to the alert levels, but it’s sounding like there aren’t going to be any changes soon enough to allow us all to enjoy this event.

Way more than 50% of the people who attend are from the Auckland region, and it just would not be the same event without you guys.

Therefore we have decided that we should postpone the Tauranga Harbour Jam until 26th-27th March 2022. This hopefully gives everyone the chance to attend if you would like to still be involved.

Unfortunately by changing the date we understand that some of you will have other plans already and will not be able to make the postponed event, or you just simply would prefer to get a refund now.

So as we explained earlier, anyone wishing to cancel please contact us and we will get your 70% refund back to you and organise the Rash Shirt to get to you when we receive them. Please email taurangawindsurfers@gmail.com .

We are going to do the draw for the Samsung A31 phone in the next few days. We figured that would be better to get done now for those that pre registered with us. So we will send out a notice via Facebook when that is taking place.

There will still be a small TGA Windsurfers Club day with some casual racing and a BBQ if the weather is suitable on one of the days. Again, we will update the Facebook page with details nearer to the time.

We are really sorry that we have had to postpone this event, but it really is the fairest thing to do so that everyone can be part of the Harbour Jam.
