This annual windsurfing event is an all-inclusive event for sailors of all ages and abilities. We run a small sailing course, closer to shore for our Bronze Fleet (learners) and bigger courses further off-shore for Silver and Gold Fleet sailors. There are also a number of Full Fleet activities over the weekend - all wind dependent, of course!
Our priority is a fun weekend out with other sailors from around the country. We have a food truck (selling food, drinks and coffee), music, spot prizes, a buffet meal, BBQ breaky and, hopefully, a tonne of sailing too.
This weekend is a great way to get together with others in the windsurf community, and maybe give some new gear a try (from our attending sponsors). It's also a great way to support our sport here in the Bay of Plenty as all funds raised go back into our club to purchase gear for and to run future events.
