10.1 The scoring system is as follows: The winner of a heat will be scored 0.7, 2nd place 2.0 points, 3rd 3.0 points etc. OCS/DNF/DNS/DSQ will be scored as the amount of competitors assigned to the heat +1.0. Competitors will be ranked in order of the lowest series score. At the end of the event the winner will be the competitor with the lowest series score.
10.2 In the circumstance of a ‘tie’ at the end of the series requiring a ‘countback’ between two or more competitors, sailor that scored the most wins or highest places will be higher placed. If that is still a tie then the sailor who scored the highest result first will place higher.
10.3 3 races are required to constitute a series.
10.3.1 4-7 races one discard will be allowed.
10.3.2 8-12 races two discards will be allowed.

11.2 Competitors must display their registered number on their sail. Register here or use a temporary one issued on the day.
11.2.1 If you do not clearly display your number and this can’t be read from the shore, you will get a DNF score. So it is your responsibility to make sure the number is big enough and clear enough to be seen from the shore.
