THJ 2021/2 Trophy Winners

Congratulations to our Tauranga Harbour Jam Trophy Winners for our 2021 event held in March 2022, including:

The BOP Cup (previously known as the Barry Cup) is given each year to our most improved sailor, not necessarily the best but someone who has progressed well with their skills at whatever level. We recognise sailors across all categories including windsurfing, foiling and wing foiling.

Olly was clearly an obvious choice this year as we all remember him from when he competed in our first Tauranga Harbour Jam event in 2017 (before that it was called the Spring Racing Series) - dragging his non-windsurfing family down to Ferg Park to help and support him at 12yrs old (go Mum & Dad!) where he sailed in the Silver Fleet with largely all experienced sailors as we didn't have a Bronze Fleet at the time.

Now, at 17yrs old, Olly is still incredibly focused on his sport, and is fast becoming a world-class competitor and athlete. He really has come a long way! We are all incredibly impressed with his passion and determination, and are excited to see what he can achieve.
