THJ 2022 Announcement

With our new earlier date of 17-18 September, we're expecting it to be windier which will hopefully offset the fact that it will be colder too. Unfortunately the tides and date clashes meant we couldn't book our event for the usual Oct/Nov timing so get prepared and get yourself registered today!
Racing fleets will include (you can change during the event if you like):
Bronze - For our Cadets and any other sailors not quite ready to go Silver.
Silver - For those that can confidently gybe plus looking for more downwind sailing.
Gold - For our elite fleet who want to do as much racing as possible.
Foiling - Depending on numbers and conditions, this fleet may have separate races.
Wing Foiling - Also dependent on numbers and conditions for separate races.
Likewise, we are expecting to run the same sort of format as previous years:
Plenty of downwind racing
Some fun racing - team relays for light winds for gybe-offs and harbour blasts for medium to high winds.
Our Saturday night meal and prize giving where you can choose your own prize!
Our Sunday BBQ breaky at the beach
Plenty of music, lots of great people, food trucks, giveaways and more!

Standard Ticket (No T-Shirt) = $120

Note: To enter this event you must be a member of a WNZ affiliated club and be able to prove that you have paid your subscriptions for the 2022-2023 season.
If you are a member of a club that is not WNZ recognised or are not a current member of any WNZ affiliated club then you will need to become a member of Tauranga Windsurfers Inc @ $30/yr.
